The main reason for this is the time and effort involved, not only in creating new walks, but in continually revisiting and updating existing ones. Crete is a landscape that changes. On top of that, GPS coverage on the island can be unreliable. Each of our walks is recorded using a dedicated satellite recorder with an accuracy of between three and ten metres.
